Ugly Dat Files

I knew I forgot something, here are the dat files for the Uglies, it's in Xmod Format so presuming you have installed them in the correct slots i.e. slots 35,36,37 and 38 this will work, if you have been so stupid as to install them in other slots tough it wont work!!

Vornskyr Fighter

Based on the design by Alfred Wong from Talon's Starbase

This unique "Ugly", The term used by both New Republic and Imperial pilots to describe pirate fighters cobbled together with parts of other designs. The original designers named the fighter the "Vornskyr" after the deadly Force-sensitive hunting beast, however the ship itself is far from formidable.

The craft is made from salvaged components of half of an X-Wing and half a TIE-Fighter, combined in a very... ingenious configuration. The whole assembly is powered by 2 of the X-Wing's fusion engines plus a thruster unit mounted between the 2 fuselages, and is somewhat underpowered. The pilot sits in the X-Wing portion, with the TIE cockpit occupied by a gunner operating a paired ion cannon-turret mounted on top of the cockpit ball. An S-foil from the X-Wing has been bolted vertically to the X-Wing fuselage to balance the single TIE solar array-wing on the opposite side. The "Vornskyr" is also unusual in being equipped with very sophisticated sensors, some of which appeared to have been liberated from an Imperial Probe Droid. The fighter is remarkably well-armed and equipped, it retains the X-Wing's warhead launchers, 2 fixed laser cannons in addition to the ions. Even though it is well armed, it fly's like a crippled slug, due to its unconventional design.

Note: even though it has Ion turrets, these turrets are NOT enabled due to the meshes being made from two components.

X-TIE Ugly

One of the most common Uglies, fighters cobbled together from the salvaged remains of other fighters, in use, the X-TIE combines the hull of an X-Wing with the radiator panels of the TIE fighter.

Two variations are commonly in use the X-TIE (Laser) replaces the warhead launchers with lasers, and the X-TIE (Torpedo) retains one warhead launcher, with the other warhead launcher replaced with a laser.

TYE-Wing Ugly

This Ugly, also known as the DIE-Wing because of its poor performance, consists of a TIE Fighter's cockpit mounted on the engine pods of a Y-Wing. A very common ugly but suffers from incredibly poor handling - which it inherited from the construction required to mount the cockpit to the engines - and had no shields. In certain circles, these Uglies were also known as TYE Fighters or TIE-Y Uglies.

The Rapier Mk.7A is the standard single-seat multipurpose Starfighter forming the backbone of the Sierran Star-Command. The Rapier is a fully adaptable ship that is equally comfortable operating in the vacuum of deep space, the atmosphere of a planet or beneath the surface of its oceans. The Mk.7 is the latest model in the distinguished Rapier line.

The Sierrans value justice above all, and, learning of the Rebel cause adapted a small number of Rapiers for the Rebel Alliance, designated the Mk.7A (Alliance). The fighter’s warp-generator has been replaced by the hyper-drive system used by Rebel/New Republic fighters. Standard Rebel lasers and warhead launchers have also replaced the Sierran weapons.
