Here's a little fun thing to
do in the game. This actually exists. But there are some factors
in order to use it: * only works in Multiplayer * only works
on servers with cheats active. So you won't be able to run
around Multiplayer servers using it, since they all have cheats
disabled. But you can use it for a botmatches, if you like.
Here's how to do it. - Start a game in any map you like.
- Press shift ~ (Tilde key)
- Type in devmapall [mapname] - this will designated map
(example: devmap ffa_yavin).
- Then ignite your lightsaber.
- Then turn it off (just press one) so that you're holding
just the handle.
- Then go into the console and type /thedestroyer
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
During Multiplayer mode, press
shift+~
this will open the console where you can enter various codes, binds, etc.
If you enter:
- model reborn/boss you get a cool shiny red reborn with
a shiny blue arm color
- model reborn/fencer you get a tealish green one
- model reborn/acrobat you get a bluish one
- model reborn/forceuser you get a regular red one
- model morgan/ghost you get a Morgan Katarn as a ghost
(not to be confused with Kyle Katarn)

| setForceAll 1138: this cheat
allows you to play any other character for a brief time when
you use F4: (Jedi mind trick on them) |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| It is possible to possess any
enemy in the game by bringing down the console and typing "helpusobi
1" and then instead of setting force powers to the maximum
of 3 set it to any number above 3, e.g. type "setforceall
50" then by using Jedi mind trick on enemies you will have
the ability to take control of them for a limited period. |

A bit hard to pull of at first
is the wallwalk. To wallwalk run along a wall, strafe into
it and press and hold the jumpkey.
Wallwalking is not only a great
way to evade incoming enemies or enemy fire, it also enables
you to get onto platforms that are not too high in a faster
and thus less vulnerable way than with normal Forcejumping.
It's a bit harder to pull of in smaller spaces but with a
little practise you can even wallwalk those round pillars
in certain maps like the Massassi Temple.
There is a way to prematurely
break of a wallwalk. This is handy in cases where you would
otherwise wallwalk into enemies and get damaged. To interrupt
a wallwalk release and tap the jumpkey once while wallwalking.
You'll see your character do a cartwheel away from the wall,
similar in looks to the sideways walljump.
The Bespin streets level has
some nice straight high walls to start practising these moves.
When you are more experienced try the BGJ 2.0 level. Some
walls will give spectacular results:
Strafing into walls and
holding the jumpkey makes you wallwalk

This jump, is a little harder
to pull of than the standard variety and comes with its own
pros and cons. To advanced jump move forward or sideways and
release the movement key just before pressing/holding the
jump key. The advantage of this technique is that you have
your saber at the ready because you dont do a roll in midair
like with the standard jump. Also, this jump makes it easier
to jump between two platforms that are close above each other
like some of the ramps on the Bespin streets-map. The disadvantage
on the other hand is that you enlarge your profile somewhat
while in the air which makes it easier for enemies to hit
you.
Nar Shaddaa streets and Bespin
Exhaust Shafts are nice maps to practise this manoevre. Especially
on Bespin Exhaust Shafts, since when you pull the move of
correctly you can get to the flag and back by jumping over
the abyss thats under the flagplatform!
