Training

You are advised to go through all the training missions before flying your chosen craft. These training missions are not merely for amateurs, as they present multiple challenges for pilots of all skill levels. Training introduces you to the various features of your starfighter, in addition to many of the advanced tactics you will have to employ in serious missions, including warhead interception and starship disabling. Training missions differ between the Rebel and Imperial sides, not only in the spacecraft you fly but also in the very nature of the scenario. The importance of these missions is not to be understated, as the later ones pose a significant challenge even to the very best starfighter pilots.

X-Wing and TIE Fighter experts should take the time to go through the training scenarios and properly reacquaint themselves with their trade. They will find that their starfighters handle differently than ever before, and the subtleties of flying these spacecraft can make the difference. What's more, these training missions introduce the vital concept of team strategy. The importance of relying on your wingmen is not to be understated. You should know very well that you cannot win this war by yourself.
